Where May TAP Members Park?

To use your TAP parking benefits, your vehicle must be equipped with an activated in-vehicle parking meter (IVPM) or display a machine-vended permit that was purchased with a TAP coupon.

Academic/Faculty

If you are ... Valid Parking Invalid Parking
Academic/Faculty and qualify for a Faculty (“A”) parking permit.

Your IVPM displays “A” or “F”.

  • Parking lots and structures marked “Visitor, Student, Faculty, Staff” (yellow on the color-coded map)

Graduate Student Staff "GS" qualify for a "45% employed Graduate Student" parking permit.

Your IVPM displays “G” or “X”.

  • Parking lots and structures marked “Visitor and Student” (yellow on the color-coded map)
  • After 5pm Monday-Friday and all day on weekends a Night and Weekend parking permit is required...In spaces/areas designated "Faculty and Staff Permit Required Enforced at All Times" BOTH a valid Night and Weekend parking permit and inactive In-Vehicle Parking Meter are required to provide STAFF equivalent parking privileges during Night and Weekends.
