MOVE-IN 2014 –
Welcome new and returning students! Follow
the directional signs on SATURDAY, September
27 and SUNDAY, September 28 to go to your residence hall’s designated unloading
zone. Vehicles are allowed one-time access to the unloading zone. (No return trips.)
Once your vehicle is unloaded, we ask that you park it in one of our designated lots.
For EASTSIDE (quadrangle) residents, this will be
16 Parking or
18 (Mesa) Parking.
Shuttles will be running from University Plaza (adjacent to 16 Parking) to take
you back to your residence hall. For WESTSIDE
(Manzanita/San Rafael) residents,
parking will be in 22 Parking.
Santa Catalina residents occupying floors 1–4, North Tower and South Tower, your designated move-in day is FRIDAY, September 26.
All other Santa Catalina residents are scheduled for move-in on the weekend.
Santa Catalina parking will be directed from Santa Catalina to nearby 38 Parking,
with overflows directed to nearby 30 Parking.
Shuttle service will be available to take you back to your residence hall.
Campus roadways and parking areas will be heavily congested on move-in days.
Please drive mindfully.
PERMIT SALE HOURS ON MOVE-IN WEEKEND.
As a courtesy to our customers, the TPS Sales Office will be open on SATURDAY, September
27 and SUNDAY, September 28 from 10AM to 4PM. Our normal business hours are Monday–Friday from 8AM to 5PM.

STUDENTS, GET READY FOR FALL QUARTER PARKING!
If you have not already done so, purchase your
Student (C) or
Residential Student (RS) permit NOW.
to purchase the permit online. You can expect to receive an
email confirmation and instructions for completing the order
within two business days. The email will be sent to the address
you provide when you create the order.
Annual and Residential Assistant (RA) permits are valid upon completing the order.
Quarterly and Residential Student permits are valid on the first day of MOVE-IN,
Friday, September 26.
Main Campus residents, check the Interactive Map for help in deciding
which RS permit to apply for.
Early orders take precedence. Order now if you prefer one of the highly coveted RS2 or RS23 permits.

For your convenience, now selling at $8 at permit dispensers across campus.
The 15-day permit
replaces the 30-day Night & Weekend permit.
VISITOR OVERNIGHT PARKING RESTRICTION —
Enforced weekends, midnight to 5 AM on all University property.
Permits are not dispensed from paystations during restricted parking hours.

MESA ROAD CLOSURE.
Mesa Road between Stadium Road and Los Carneros is closed to traffic until September 25, 2014.
You are advised to detour to El Colegio if entering or leaving campus from the west side.
Deliveries to Building 507 (Central Stores, Mail & Receiving) are permitted from the east (Mesa & Stadium Road).
The road closure is required by the Goleta Sanitation District for its
Wetlands & Pipeline Improvement Project.
