Eligibility

UCSB Faculty and Managers & Senior Professionals (MSP) are eligible
to obtain faculty status (“A”) permits. Employees requesting faculty permits will
have their status verified by using the Personnel Payroll System (PPS). Employees
not appearing in PPS, or employees without the proper title code, will need to provide
satisfactory documentation of their eligibility for a faculty permit.
Parking Areas
Faculty permits are valid in lots labeled “Faculty”. Please watch for spaces or
areas within these lots that may have additional restrictions. These permits are
also valid in time zones for the time designated, and in loading zones for 20 minutes.
Please note these permits are not valid in restricted areas, restricted spaces,
reserved spaces, metered spaces, coastal access spaces or lots/spaces marked for
vendors.
