Eligibility
Vehicles parked on campus to support construction projects or renovations are eligible
for construction site authorization permits. There is no cost for these permits.
Parking Areas
Construction site authorization permits are only valid within designated construction
site areas. Each permit will state the area in which it is valid. These permits
are not valid in parking lots, facilities or structures.
Applying
Requests for construction site authorization permits should be submitted to the
UCSB project manager assigned to your construction project. Every campus construction
project will have a specific project manager assigned to provide guidance and oversight.
The project manager will coordinate with Parking Services for the necessary permits.
Generally, permits will be available for pickup the next business day after the
permits are requested. Permits can be picked up from the permit sales counter at
the
Parking Services Office.
Construction Permits
Construction permits are available for those projects that do not have room for
all employees to park within the designated construction site area. These
permits are only valid in 30 Parking. Please contact Parking Services for
further information regarding these permits.
