Eligibility
Special area permits are issued to departments on a special needs basis only. A
valid campus permit must be displayed in addition to the special area permit in
order to be legally parked.
Parking Areas
Parking spaces and/or areas are determined by departmental need. Permitted areas
and time allotments will be determined by Parking Services.

Renewal
Permits currently being issued are three year permits due to expire August
31, 2008. Information regarding renewal of these permits will be emailed to departments
prior to the expiration date.
Payment Options
Special area permits are available at a cost of $432.00 per year, and can only by
paid for by departmental recharge. The prorated amount of the permit will be recharged
to the department on a monthly basis. Permits that are no longer in use must be
returned to Parking Services in order to stop this monthly charge.
