Who is eligible
Retired staff who are not on pay status are eligible to obtain a retiree B
permit. The Emeriti/Retirees Center provides TPS with a list of eligible retirees.
Where to park
A retiree B permit accords the same parking privileges as a staff
B permit; you are allowed
to park in the lots and structures designated for staff (see
Faculty & Staff Parking
for locations).
The permit is valid in student lots (see
Visitor & Student Parking
for locations), and for parking in time-restricted parking spaces for the time designated.
The permit is not valid in spaces marked for faculty only,
or where other restrictions apply —
for example, reserved or metered spaces, or lots/spaces
marked for vendors or “RS” permit holders.
The permit is not valid in Coastal Access spaces on weekdays, Monday–Friday 7:30AM–5:00PM.
The permit is not valid in the off-campus parking facilities operated by Housing & Residential Services.❖
How to apply
Permit applications are accepted exclusively at the
Parking Services
office. Upon applying, you will be asked to present your Emeriti/Retirees membership card.
When to renew
Permits expire on December 31.
Renewal orders are accepted at the
Parking Services office.
Price and payment options
Retiree B permits are currently offered at no cost to eligible retirees.
