Halloween Weekend Parking
https://www.thepermitstore.com/customer_info.cfm?Customer_ID=5 UCSB is closed to public parking from 5:00PM on Friday, October 30th until 7:30AM on Monday, November 2nd. As in past years, Transportation & Parking Services (TPS) offers accomodation to those who wish to park their vehicles on campus during these dates and times. For valid parking, you will need to purchase a 2009 Halloween parking permit.

Night & Weekend permits and off-campus Housing (“H”) permits will not be honored during Halloween weekend.

Do I qualify for a Halloween permit?
You qualify if you are a student enrolled at UCSB, and a resident of Isla Vista.

How do I obtain a Halloween permit?
  1. Click on the permit pictured above to go to The Permit Store.
  2. On the “Home: Option Selection” page, click on “Apply”.
  3. If you already have a permit account, log on using your email address and password. If you don’t have an account, create an account following the posted instructions.
  4. Once you create or log onto your account, you will be at Step 1: “New Accounts”. Provide your personal contact information.
  5. At the bottom of the page you will see “Purchasing As”. Select “Halloween Permit option”.
Permits ordered by October 16th will be mailed directly to you. A $15 nonrefundable processing fee applies. Permits ordered after October 16th are assessed a $25 processing fee at the time of ordering, and must be picked up at the Permit Sales Office between 10:00AM and 4:00PM on October 28th or 29th.

The final date for ordering a Halloween permit is October 23rd. Purchase of Halloween permits is limited to one per student.

Where can I park my vehicle?
There are four areas where Halloween permits are valid. Primary parking is at 22 Parking . Overflow parking is at 18 (Mesa) Parking, and at 16 Parking and the south end of 30 Parking.

Halloween permits are valid from 3:00PM, Friday October 30th until 7:30AM, Monday, November 2nd. You may park your vehicle on campus before 5:00PM, but please be aware that classes are still in session and parking may be limited.
